We have been serving the local community for over 80 years and our mission has always been to provide the best quality care for everyone who joins our office family of patients. We are all committed to keeping up with all treatment methods and key technology as well as products that can help you see and feel better.

DEDICATED STAFF, FOCUSED ON YOU
Our staff has changed over the many years that we have been in and working for the community – especially the decor, eyeglass frame styles, and new lens and contact lens innovations. Even with change, our dedication stays the same. Our services, the latest technology and equipment, and our excellent staff allow for continued and thorough management and treatment of disease. In addition to primary care for your eyes and overall vision, we also provide cataract surgery pre-op and post-op care, and laser vision correction evaluation and support.

YOUR VISIT AND YOUR CARE
We want you to enjoy your visit. We completely understand the stress or other concerns that might come to mind when visiting a doctor's office and we want you to have a different, and far better experience with us. We have crafted the waiting room to be comfortable, our staff is friendly, and we pride ourselves on getting to know our patients and what they need and enjoy.
We do recommend that you do what you can to make your visit a success and as easy as possible for you, too. Part of that is to make sure that you get some good rest the day before, that you call ahead to make sure that we know you're on your way, and that you make sure to confirm with us that you'll be able to make your appointment. Beyond that, we have made our forms available to you online and if you have any questions, you can check our Health + Education blog or our Patient Resources. Or just give us a call. We're here for you!
A HISTORY OF EXCELLENCE
Dr. Herbert J. Bell began his Optometric practice in 1935 in downtown Trenton after graduating from the Southern California College of Optometry. In order to serve the growing community in both Trenton and Ewing, he moved his practice to the present location in Ewing in 1965. Dr. Herbert J. Bell provided professional eye care and developed a special personal rapport with his patients for almost 60 years.
Today, Dr. Bell's daughter, Dr. Susan A. Bell, continues to practice and serve the community with the same dedication and caring that her father brought to his work. She is not only proud to continue his legacy, but also to provide her own sincere style of compassion to her work.
